Monique presented a poster of her latest project at the 2026 Council of Young Filipinx Americans in Medicine. Her study examined racial differences in the association between hearing loss and dementia risk. She found that the association was higher in Black individuals compared to White individuals, and in those who did not identify with any one racial group compared to White individuals.
